VR League
Zero‑gravity RC soccer in VR — pilot your cube, shove the ball into the goal, and ruin someone’s day with mines and homing missiles.
Description
VRLeague is a room‑scale WebXR sports game: you fly a small cube in a sealed arena and try to score on the other team’s goal while the ball floats in zero gravity. It feels like RC heli soccer — attitude on the sticks, right trigger forward, left trigger reverse, and quick bursts of thrust instead of walking around the pitch.
Play modes
- Practice (offline) — hop in alone with bots on empty slots and learn the arena.
- Online (up to 4) — host or join with a lobby number; the host runs physics and everyone else follows the same match state.
Match feel
- Two teams (west vs east spawns), GOAL! celebrations, match clock, and arena feedback tuned for AR/VR.
- Power‑ups spawn in the arena: grab a mine or missile, then deploy with B (shown on-controller when you’re holding one). Mines arm after a short delay; missiles launch forward, then home on opponents after a beat — and they can detonate on any cube that crosses their path, not only the original target.
Audio & polish
- Spatial thruster loop, pickup sonar, impacts, and goal stingers — built to read clearly in headphones.
Requirements
- A WebXR‑capable VR headset and a modern Chromium‑based VR browser (e.g. Quest browser).
- Internet for online play (uses WebRTC / PeerJS).
Notes
- Best with roomscale / standing space; use wrist straps and clear your play area.
- If audio doesn’t start until you interact, that’s normal browser autoplay policy — enter VR / tap once if needed.
